This is a technique I practice sometimes when charging sigils to help me hold the shape of the sigil in my mind. This helps keep the shape firmly in your mind in case you have trouble with that. Also this is particularly useful in situations where it is not appropriate to close your eyes and meditate, for example driving, donating plasma, staring blankly ahead pretending to pay attention in class, etc.
I simply visualize the image over my surroundings in a way that some of the lines will line up with the features of the objects or landscape in my line of sight. The horizon, a window frame, your keyboard; you can get creative and use just about anything depending on the shape of your sigil.
You could even imagine it over someone’s face while you give then the evil eye. Feel free to design your sigils with your environment in mind, or the person, or object of your magick.
(I’m not sure if I’m the first one who thought of this but I definitely didn’t read it anywhere. I have an upcoming ritual I will be publishing that uses this method for part, so I released this first.)
